DenUM’s Employment Services Center provides supportive services for those seeking employment. Job seekers include people who are trying to overcome barriers to finding employment. They may be recently released from the Department of Corrections, they may be homeless, or just be people returning to the work force after an absence — all are welcome!
The first step to starting your search for employment is to attend the Employment Services Orientation on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am. Space is limited and offered on a “first come, first serve” basis.
Employment Services includes:
- Resume preparation: Workshop is on Friday at 9:00 a.m. Please attend an Employment Services Orientation first.
- Career assessment
- Computer access
- Basic computer classes (Thursdays at 10:00-11:00 am)
- Internet job searches
- Clothing referrals
- Assistance writing cover letters
- Access to telephones and fax machine
- Copying and printing
- Voice mail access
- Hygiene products
- Legal consultation
- Case management
- ID replacement
