Volunteer
At DenUM, volunteers make a difference in the lives of others.
They are woven throughout the many programs and services DenUM offers.
With a multitude of opportunities available, we are open to volunteers with diverse talents and interests.
DenUM volunteers put their hope and faith to action.
Volunteer Opportunities
Food & Clothing Bank Volunteer
Our food and clothing banks are constantly receiving donations that must be sorted and readied for distribution. Volunteers organize our resources, keep order in our public spaces, and assist clients with their needs.
Intake Volunteer
Please come join us on the “Front Line” of client services. If you are ready to learn understand the many reasons a person might find his or her way to DenUM, this is the position for you.
Computer/Job Skills Tutor
Put your expertise to work! We need professionals who can help our “hard to employ” participants develop their marketable skills.
Job Services Volunteer/Receptionist
DenUM works with those who are “hard to employ” – those who struggle to overcome limited education and histories of chronic homelessness, addition, or incarceration. Receiving new clients and providing employment support services ensures that DenUM clients are treated with courtesy and timely assistance.
Office Volunteer/Receptionist
It is frustrating to clients to call DenUM with a crisis… and be directed to voicemail. Please join us as a compassionate “first contact” for all those DenUM serves, and those who partner with us to do so. Please – lend a human voice to DenUM’s day-to-day communications!
Volunteer Driver
Pick up food from local grocery stores and unload at DenUM one or two mornings per week.
Graphic Artist
We need help to make our special publications look pleasing!
After-Hours Opportunities
For more information regarding volunteer opportunities, please contact Sarah, 303-355-4896 x308.
We need church representatives! Does your church support DenUM? Please volunteer to put items in your newsletter or bulletin and to recruit volunteers for the summer months.
