Sun. Nov. 20 Thanksgiving Food For All.
In 2005 , 334 youth gathered for the fall Food For All packing event. 425 boxes were packed, each serving an individual or family in need.
Adult and youth volunteer support is also vital:
- to facilitate specific activities, traffic flow and work teams during the event;
- to load and unload food at the packing site and at DenUM
- to provide pickup trucks and drivers for transporting food.
DenUM thanks the 87 volunteers who made this event run smoothly and successfully in 2005!
Each year DenUM counts on a wonderful outpouring of donations and volunteer support for Food For All activities. For more information on how you can be involved, please contact DenUM's Urban Education Coordinator at urbaned@denum.org or 303-350-5062.
