DenUM operates a call-in line for utility assistance information and requests. Assistance is for energy bills such as gas or electricity but does not include phone or water. When funding is available, messages will be taken from those seeking assistance. Clients must apply for LEAP before receiving assistance with DenUM between November 1st and April 1st. Eligible clients may only receive utility assistance one time each calendar year beginning October 1st and ending September 30th.
DenUM returns calls based on a first-call, first-served basis until all the appointment times are filled.
Calls are accepted on Monday mornings only at 9:00am. DenUM is not able to return all calls. A Case Manager will contact you with available appointment times if eligible.
