Increase Your Impact — Become a Volunteer
In 2015, volunteers contributed 17,476 hours to vulnerable families in our community.
Each week, volunteers at DenUM provide necessary services to families in need with kindness, compassion and understanding. Volunteers accompany client families through the intake process, connect those families to needed resources, and keep the pantry shelves stocked with emergency food.
DenUM is seeking committed volunteers for these positions:
- Intake Volunteer: Meet one-on-one with clients, ask questions that allow DenUM to provide better services, update records on the computer and provide additional resources as needed. For more information, see the job description.
- Personal Shopper: Client families have the opportunity to chose which foods fill their bags since DenUM has transitioned to a Choice Pantry. Help guide families through the pantry as well as offer assistance in choosing healthy and nutritionally balanced food options. For more information, see the job description.
