Food for All 2017

Time: 1pm-4pm
Location: DenUM and 1635 E Colfax (UMB Parking Lot)

Every fall, individual volunteers, youth groups, schools,  businesses and civic organizations come together to collect food items and to create delicious and complete Thanksgiving meals for families who would otherwise go without.

Youth groups take the lead on organizing food drives and collecting the items that will fill up the boxes within their communities. On November 20th those youth come together to sort the items they collected and to assemble the Thanksgiving meal boxes for low-income families.

Individual adults, families, civic groups and businesses support their efforts by collecting food items within their own communities and by volunteering on client registration at DenUM on October 19th and at Food for All to help assemble, sort and move the massive amounts of food collected.  On average, DenUM receives 30,000 pounds of food during the event!

To organize a food drive through your business or group, contact Carolyne.  Check out our donation list!

There are several opportunities to get involved as an individual, as a family, or with a group of friends. We need your help to make Food For All a success!
